Ben Stanton is a lighting designer based in Brooklyn, NY. Over the last decade he has contributed lighting designs for Theater and Dance pieces, Operas, Concerts, Performance Art, & Installations. He has been profiled in American Theater Magazine, Lighting and Sound America, Stage Directions Magazine, and the Rosco International website. He has guest lectured or been a designer in residence at Harvard University, The University of Massachusetts, UNC Charlotte, & Duke University. He is on the faculty at the Playwrights Horizons Theater School at New York University, and is proud to be a New York Theater Workshop "Usual Suspect". Ben’s work has been seen in most major cites in the United States and internationally in Canada and Europe. In 2006 Ben created Stanton Collaborative, a lighting design firm focused on bringing a progressive visual aesthetic to non-theater markets. Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Stanton Collaborative thrives in one of the most invigorating Arts, Fashion, and Music scenes in New York.
